Collection: Sterling Silver Earrings

925 Sterling Silver Earrings Series

Each item in this series is available in both gold and silver colors. The gold-colored pieces are crafted from 925 sterling silver and plated with 14K gold. The silver-colored pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and plated with rhodium.

Sterling silver is an alloy composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper or zinc.

14K gold-plated jewelry is created by bonding a thin layer of 14-karat gold to a base metal, such as brass, copper, or sterling silver. This process, known as electroplating or electroless plating, uses an electrical current in a gold solution to apply the gold layer. The result is jewelry that closely resembles real gold but is more affordable.

Rhodium is a rare, silvery-white, hard, and corrosion-resistant transition metal that belongs to the platinum group. It has the atomic symbol Rh, atomic number 45, and a melting point of 3,567 °F (1,964 °C). As a noble metal, rhodium is resistant to oxidation and does not easily react with oxygen. It is also an excellent catalyst.

Items that feature diamond-like stones use simulated diamond cubic zirconia (CZ). Cubic zirconia is a man-made gemstone that is often used as a diamond simulant due to its similar appearance, clarity, and brilliance. CZ is composed of zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and has a cubic crystalline structure akin to that of diamonds.
